The organization of the Festival is held under the auspices of the IMSCF (Iran’s Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation) Itinerary
Itinerary
۲۹ April: Arrival Day & Opening Ceremony
Morning: Pick up participants from Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA) – Transfer to Vandarbon -Federation’s Mountain Shelter 2300m
Evening: Opening Ceremony & Dinner
۳۰ April: Climbing to Hesarchal ca.mp & Acclimatization till 3800m
۵:۰۰ – ۶:۰۰ Breakfast & giving lunch boxes
۶:۰۰ – ۸:۰۰ Drive to foothills (beginning of snow)
۸:۰۰– ۱۴:۰۰ Ski touring to ca.mp 3500m + 300m more for acclimatization and region introducing
۱۶:۰۰ – ۱۷:۰۰ Ski to Camp 3500m
۱۸:۰۰ – ۱۹:۰۰ Dinner (stay in camp overnight with tent and mattress)
۱ May: Climbing Laskarak summit 4250m
۶:۰۰ – ۷:۰۰ Breakfast & giving lunch boxes
۸:۰۰ – ۱۷:۰۰ Ski touring to 4250m for acclimatization and ski back to camp
۱۸:۰۰ – ۱۹:۰۰ Dinner
۲ May: Climbing Gardune-Kuh summit 4400m
۶:۰۰ – ۷:۰۰ Breakfast & giving lunch boxes
۸:۰۰ – ۱۷:۰۰ Ski touring to Gardune-Kuh 4400m and ski back to camp
۱۷:۰۰ – ۱۸:۰۰ Next Day Coordination Meeting
۱۸:۰۰ – ۱۹:۰۰ Dinner
۳ May: Alam-Kuh 4850m Summit Day
۶:۰۰ – ۷:۰۰ Breakfast & giving lunch boxes
۸:۰۰– ۱۳:۰۰ Ski touring to Alam-Kuh Summit
۱۳:۰۰ – ۱۵:۰۰ Ski to camp
۱۶:۰۰ – ۱۷:۰۰ Vertical Race Technical Briefing
۱۸:۰۰ – ۱۹:۰۰ Dinner
May: Vertical ISMF Asian Series
۶:۰۰ – ۷:۰۰ Breakfast
۸:۰۰ – ۱۰:۰۰ Vertical Race
۱۰:۰۰ – ۱۳:۰۰ Ski, tracking and Drive back to Vandarbon Shelter
۱۳:۰۰ – ۱۴:۰۰ Lunch
۱۵:۰۰ – ۱۶:۰۰ Prize giving & Closing Ceremony Possibility to stay one extra night 50 Euro
Cost & Conditions:
The cost for each participant is 500€, that includes accommodation with full-board (drinks are the responsibility of the participant) and local transportations.
National federations should enroll their candidates at the Ski Mountain Committee of IMSCF via Email: alborz_sport@yahoo.com And a cc to ISMF office: office@ismf-ski.org
